Accommodations at The Anglers Return, Connemara
Located in Toombeola, between Ballynahinch and Roundstone, the house is situated on the lowermost salmon pool of the Ballynahinch River. The interior décor and furnishings are comfortable and authentic – with wooden floors, whitewashed walls, old maps, antiques and Persian rugs adding to the general ambiance of restful peace and relaxation.
We offer five mid-sized bedrooms, with a double ensuite and four rooms sharing two bathrooms with showers. Each room has a washbasin and is outfitted with robes for the short dash to the bathrooms. They're all tastefully decorated and feature ultra-comfortable beds! With a maximum of 10 guests, the house is always calm, quiet and un-crowded.

Staying at the Anglers Return
Nestled at the foot of Derradda Hill, overlooking the famous Ballynahinch River, The Anglers Return was built in the 1800s as a sporting lodge and is now the home of Lynn Hill and her family. The house is a wonderfully peaceful guesthouse enhanced by the log fires and beautiful gardens. Outside, the grounds are highlighted by a profusion of flowers, stone walls, beautiful river views and garden paths.
